I’m definitely a Wine girl. White Wine on a hot day in the sun, a good glass of red at dinner and I absolutely love having a glass of Wine at the end of the day to unwind.
I don’t know why I’ve never really been a big Rosé fan, I guess it was just because I always assumed all Rosé was sweet (I blame it on college days when a big bottle of cheap, super sweet Moscato was a go to – Yuck).
I’ve recently been introduced to a whole new world of Wine, and I’ve been learning a lot. I’ve also been trying different types of Rosé, all new to me. Here are two that I’ve tried and LOVED.
The first – Josep Raventos I Blanc ‑ Raventos I Blanc De Nit Cava 2014
A bubbly option which was super refreshing, with light citrus flavors. The clean, direct sensation made it smooth and the bubbles weren’t overpowering.
The Second – Ameztoi Getariako Txakolina Rubentis Rose 2016
Mineral-accented citrus fruit and red berry scents packs a lot of flavor but it comes off subtle. The slightest bit of effervescence made it AMAZING.
Make sure to try one of these next time you’re lost in a Wine aisle at the store! Trust me, you will be converted a Rosé girl like me!
Have a great weekend everyone!
