Friday Favorites – Beauty

My blog has always been about my personal style and I want it to stay that way. Personal style blogs are my favorite to read because I love seeing the way people take similar items and style them differently. It’s what I love about fashion, you get to completely express yourself and show who you are through your style.

I get all of my inspiration from outfit posts and I want my blog to be a place where you can come for inspiration. I alove sharing my styling tips that I use when putting together outfits, so look out for more of these soon!

With that being said, I’ve decided to include some beauty/make-up related content in my Friday Favorites. I am NO beauty or make-up expert, but I feel like I do have some good tips/reviews that are worth sharing (growing up in a house with 4 sisters might have something to do with this). Posting this content through my Friday Favorites series is perfect because it will be less often, and that way the majority of my content will still be focused on Styling Tips and Outfit posts.

You know I usually keep my writing pretty minimal so sorry for the extra reading!

I like to take the more natural route when it comes to my Skincare. Below are the products I use every day on my face. I have been using these products for a while now and would highly recommend them for anyone who doesn’t have acne prone skin. They are just simple, good products that get the job done.

Smashbox Camera Ready BB– GUYS this is amazing! I have been looking for a BB cream that does everything all in one product and this is it! It acts as a primer and moisturizer, has SPF and is light coverage. It’s perfect for everyday wear, and I love that it’s super easy to apply.

Coconut Oil- I don’t go a single day without drenching my body in Coconut oil. I use it under my moisturizer at night for an extra layer of hydration, to remove make-up, as a mask for my hair, as a full body moisturizer, for chapped lips, the list goes on and on.

Simple Moisturizer– I love this moisturizer because it is thin enough that it doesn’t feel oily yet it’s still hydrating. Plus it absorbs really quickly, it’s perfect for wearing under makeup.

Origins Eye Cream– I use my coconut oil all over my face, then apply my moisturizer and lastly this eye cream. I love it because it’s super hydrating and helps with my dark circles. It makes my under eyes so smooth.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray– I bought this on a whim the other day and I ended up really loving it! It’s very refreshing and the rose scent isn’t too strong. It also helps soothe my redness instantly.

Thanks for stopping by and as always, hit me up in the comments below! What are some of your top BEAUTY favorites that you absolutely can’t live without?
